Please review deadline dates and the following to ensure your project meets funding criteria;
-
Please first read the post on our Panel Priorities and make sure that your project fits into one of the five priorities.
-
Make sure that your project will make a difference directly to people in the OP&G area. If you are unsure of the boundaries click here to check your postcode.
-
If your project meets these criteria, and can be achieved with £250-£2,500 then please complete the application form after reading the application guidelines. You can print off the forms below or download the forms and fill them in on your computer.
-
Once you have completed the application form email it to: orchardparkandgreenwoodpanel@gmail.com or post to Orchard Park & Greenwood Community First Panel, c/o HEYCF, Suffolk Chambers, Scale Lane, Hull, HU1 1LA by the stated deadline.
What Happens Next:
After you have sent the application form to us, we will check that it is complete and that it meets all the basic criteria. If it does not, then we will return it to you, asking for amendments or for an explaination as to why it does not meet the criteria.
If you need extra support with your application, please contact orchardparkandgreenwoodpanel@gmail.com
If your application does meet the basic criteria then it will be sent to the panel for assessment.
How we will make Decisions:
When selecting proposals for funding, we will be considering the following questions:
-
Does the project address one or more of the local priorities the panel has set?
-
Is the timetable for delivery achievable?
-
Will the project result in an improvement in the quality of life or opportunities for local people?
-
What are the possibilities for the participation of local people and volunteers in delivering the project?
-
What benefits to the neighbourhood will result from the project?
- Do the project costs represent good value for money?
Afterwards:
After the meeting, we will email you to let you know whether your application has been accepted or rejected. If rejected we will offer feedback and may encourage a future application once our recomendations are put in place.
If your application has been accepted, we will then be recommending your project to CDF (the Community Development Foundation). CDF is the national organisation that is delivering the Community First programme on behalf of the government. They will contact you directly to arrange funding.
